Your privacy.

How Clipdocker handles your data — in plain language, and in line with UK and EU data protection law.

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Clipdocker ("Clipdocker", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website and service at clipdocker.com. We are the data controller for that data.

Clipdocker is operated by Clipdocker Limited. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].

1. What we collect

We keep this to the minimum needed to run your account:

2. How we use it

Where we rely on your consent for anything, you can withdraw it at any time.

3. Your content

Your videos and clips are used only to provide the service to you. We never sell your content, and we never use your videos — or the transcripts and clips created from them — to train AI models. Uploaded files and the clips we create are stored only temporarily and are deleted automatically on a short schedule.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the trusted service providers that help us run Clipdocker — for example for hosting, storage, payment processing and email — and only so they can perform those services on our behalf under data-protection terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or where necessary to protect our rights and the security of the service.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where your data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses) so that it stays protected.

6. How long we keep it

7. Security

We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it.

8. Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to provide a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format; and where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. Email [email protected] to make a request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local data protection authority in the EU.

9. Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe's secure checkout pages may set their own cookies when you pay, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

10. Children

Clipdocker isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; we'll change the date above and make any significant changes clear on this page.

12. Contact
