The agreement between you and Clipdocker Limited when you use ClipDocker — written in plain language.
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ClipDocker ("ClipDocker", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website and service at clipdocker.com. We are the data controller for that data.
ClipDocker is operated by Clipdocker Limited. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
Last updated: 11 June 2026 · These terms apply to clipdocker.com and all ClipDocker services. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
ClipDocker is operated by Clipdocker Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("ClipDocker", "we", "us"). You can reach us any time at [email protected].
ClipDocker uses AI to turn long-form video you supply (by link or upload) into short, captioned vertical clips, with tools including an editor, AI AutoFrame and optional publishing to connected social platforms. We continually improve the service, so features may change over time; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.
You must give accurate information, keep your login credentials safe, and be at least 13 years old to use ClipDocker (18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a paid plan). You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
Processing is measured in credits, where 1 credit = 1 minute of source video. Free accounts receive a one-time credit grant at signup; paid plans include a monthly credit allowance plus features as described on the pricing page, which forms part of these terms. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Unused monthly allowance does not roll over; purchased top-up credits persist on your account. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice — changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before they take effect.
You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Because ClipDocker is a digital service delivered immediately, payments are non-refundable, and at checkout you consent to immediate access and waive the 14-day cooling-off right that would otherwise apply to digital purchases. Full details, including your statutory rights, are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You own your content. Source videos you supply and the clips ClipDocker produces from them are yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transcribe, modify (for example reframing and captioning) and store that content solely to provide the service to you, including transferring it to the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy. You promise that you own the content you process or have the necessary rights and permissions to use it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We don't claim ownership of your clips and we don't use your content to train AI models.
Don't use ClipDocker to process or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful or sexually exploitative; don't attempt to breach, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent the service, its rate limits, plan limits or watermarks; don't resell or provide the service to third parties as your own without our written agreement; and don't use it in a way that harms other users or the platforms we integrate with. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
On the free plan, your highest-scoring clip in each job exports watermark-free and remaining clips carry a small ClipDocker watermark. Paid plans export every clip without watermarks; after upgrading you can re-export earlier clips to remove the mark.
Rendered clips are temporary by design: they're stored for the retention window of your plan (currently 1 day on Free up to 5 days on Max, as shown on the pricing page) and then permanently deleted. Download anything you want to keep. We are not liable for content deleted after its retention window.
You can optionally connect social accounts (such as TikTok) and publish or schedule clips to your own profiles. You authorise us to post on your behalf only when you ask us to, and you can disconnect at any time. Posts you make remain subject to the destination platform's own terms and moderation; we're not responsible for a platform's decisions, outages or changes to their APIs, and platform-imposed restrictions (for example privacy limits during a platform's app-review process) may apply.
Clip selection, captions, framing and suggested text are generated by AI and can contain mistakes — review your clips before publishing them. We make no promise that any clip will perform in any particular way.
We aim for the service to be fast and reliable, but it's provided "as is" and we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability — maintenance, upstream providers and the platforms we depend on can cause downtime. Where we're at fault for a prolonged outage on a paid plan, contact us and we'll put it right fairly.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that: we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data you could have downloaded within its retention window; and our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period (or £50 if you've paid nothing). If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
You can stop using ClipDocker and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or non-payment, and will act proportionately — for minor issues we'll normally warn you first. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 13 and 16) survive termination.
The ClipDocker software, site, brand and design are owned by Clipdocker Limited or our licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights in them beyond using the service.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we'll give notice on the site or by email before they take effect; continuing to use ClipDocker after that means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales — except that if you're a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules and courts of your home country.
